Point Place
United Church of Christ
A small, table-based community rooted in our love for one another and designed for encountering God and one another.
Sundays
Sundays are our main days for gathering.
Half of our gatherings are upstairs in the sanctuary, where we have a more familiar type of worship with singing, praying, and teaching.
The other half of our gatherings are downstairs. We call these Breakfast Church, and they are meal-based gatherings that do include singing, praying, and teaching, but also eating and much more conversation.
-
Our free community dinners (we call them “Feed My Sheep”) are the last two Tuesdays of every month from 5-6pm. We serve sit-down guests and we also offer to-gos if you can’t stick around.
-
Stay tuned for seasonal study groups. The most common are our Lent Soup & Study (winter/spring) and our Porch Sessions (summer).
-
Along with other Point Place churches, groups, and individuals, we support our local food pantry and clothing closet. This includes regular financial support, in-kind food and clothing donations, and specific drives like Thanksgiving Baskets, Adopt-a-Family Christmas Gifts, and Back-to-School supplies. You can contact Mustard seed at 419-727-1800.
