A Eucharistic Life (Easter 2025)The idea of a “Eucharistic Life” comes from Eastern Orthodox scholar Alexander Schmemann. It’s a picture of a life that begins in our hunger for God, our connection to the world, and our need for God’s abundant grace. As we walk through this series of the elements of the Eucharistic Life, we will cultivate the Eucharistic qualities gratitude, communion, and sharing.

May 11, 2025 - "Losing Eucharist" (Genesis 3)
Quote from Alexander Schmemann: "The ‘original’ sin is not primarily that man has ‘disobeyed’ God; the sin is that he ceased to be hungry for him and for him alone, ceased to see his whole life depending on the whole world as a sacrament of communion with God…The only real fall of man is his non-eucharistic life in a non-eucharistic world.” (For the Life of the World, p. 25)
